Burnside Review’s All-Oregon Issue
With the prize money from last year’s Literary Arts publishing fellowship, we decided to give back to our state. The special edition is a truly Oregonian creation; cover art by the Mercury’s art director Justin Scrappers, design and printing and stiching by Pinball Publishing. The issue features 33 of Oregon’s finest writers, including, Willy Vlautin, Kevin Sampsell, Vern Rutsala, Mary Szybist, Michele Glazer and Floyd Skloot. Burnside Review is:
An independent poetry journal hailing from Portland, Oregon. We have our 501©(3) non-profit status from the federal government. Begun in the wee hours of 2004, we are currently putting together our 9th issue. We are 6×6, perfect bound, with beautiful color covers.
